Wears Valley Social Food Truck Park is about 2 minutes from the cabin on Wears Valley rd and offers mexican and american food fare
Elvira’s is wonderful breakfast spot about 5 min from the cabin on Wears Valley rd
The Dancing Bear in Townsend is a bit fancier and wonderful spot for lunch or dinner
Peaceful Side Social Brewery in Townsend is also a great spot for a burger and a brew
Hillbilly’s is a great breakfast and lunch spot about 3 min from the cabin
The Heavenly Roast is our favorite coffee shop in the area, and just happens to be about a minute from the cabin.

The list of things to do in the Smokies is long. Very long. Here's a shortlist of our favorite activities:

10 min to hiking at the Sinks, with a beautiful waterfall
10 min to the secret entrance to the Smokies National Park. Avoid the crowds!
20 minutes to Pigeon Forge, a kids Paradise! So many interactive experiences, restaurants and shopping.
Our faves in Pigeon Forge is the Titanic Museum and Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Experience
30 min to Dollywood
35 min to Gatlinburg
45 min to Cades Cove
20 min to Smoky Mountain River Rat Main Tubing Outpost, a great spot for river rafting during the warmer months!

Check-In Process
- Upon arrival at the pool, guests must check in at the window before entering.
- You will need to provide the cabin’s name WEARS MODERN (not the address) and the total number of people in your group.
Towels & Facilities
- Guests must bring their own towels as they are not provided.
- There are bathrooms available, but no shower facilities.
Pool & Fishing Hours
- Pool Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Fishing Hours: Dawn to Dusk
On-Site Deli
- The deli is open from 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Pizza orders must be placed by 5:00 PM.
- Guests can dine in or place take-out orders.
