This past summer I received a wonderful opportunity to do an interview and a cabin tour with the one and only Avery Carl with the Short Term Show. If you have ever even been curious about owning a short term rental, and you’ve done even a tiny amount of research, you probably have heard her name. If you haven’t, she is a veteran real estate investor who owns a plethora of short term and long term rentals. And she also runs a real estate brokerage that specializes in helping investors find and purchase short term rentals. In short, she’s one of the GOATS, and I felt very lucky to get to chat with her and give her a glimpse into our world. We chatted for a while about my story, and then we toured our cabin in Sevierville, TN. We talk in detail about how we got started and how we scaled. Believe it or not, its much more feasible than you think.
This afternoon my husband called me to let me know that our tour video is the #1 most watched video on the Short Term Shop’s YouTube channel….I’m sorry, what now? To say I was surprised is an understatement. I have no idea why that is, and tomorrow it might be gone, but what a lovely feeling that people are interested! If you haven’t watched either yet, give her a go when you have some downtime.
